Pathetic. Ordered a gyro platter with a side of hummus and pita for takeout. Should have known better when person behind counter was actually sleeping on the counter. When I opened my so called platter there were 5 small pieces of unidentifiable jerky, 3 tablespoons of hummus and a small cup of salad. No pita and no dressing. There is more meat in a white castle hamburger. Don't waste your time going there. Any good reviews they got had to be from relatives.
The problem is that more than half the time I get a take-out order, part of it is missing. One time it will lack the pita bread, another time there will be no dolmades on the platter, another time the tzatziki will be missing. It has gotten to the point where I almost expect to take my order home, find out what is missing and then make a second trip to the store.
Addendum 12/28/17: The restaurant is under new management. I hope it improves.
My friend and I went for lunch and ordered the seafood soup, chicken soup and the Sahara appetizer platters. It was delicious!! The food was perfectly and authentically prepared with quick courteous service, and the restaurant itself is spotless and the atmosphere very inviting. We'll definitely be back!
The food is passable. It is good, but I would not call it excellent.
Hello. Please give our thanks to the Manager(s) and others for the wonderful desserts for our Anniversary stay. We had an amazing time. The room was so comfortable . Our waitress was just wonderful. Looking forward to staying with you in the future.
They are small with a homey atmosphere, and there is potential for improvement here. They could become an excellent restaurant. They are not yet.
Service was OK, but food was good and people were very nice and made conversation. The Sahara appetizer platter was great and the Kushari and Chicken Kebabs. Worth coming for sure
